OUR HISTORY IS ROOTED

Since 1995, Pattycake Academy, Inc. has been a trusted, licensed child care center serving families across the Birmingham, AL metropolitan area. With three convenient locations, we welcome children from 6 weeks to 12 years old, providing a nurturing and enriching environment for early childhood education.

Across all locations, Pattycake Academy has the capacity to serve 1,196 children, including 75 students in our after-school program. Our educational programs are thoughtfully designed to prepare children for lifelong learning and success in both public and private school settings.

Our curriculum is designed to inspire curiosity, foster creativity, and build a strong foundation for lifelong learning. Through a blend of hands-on activities, structured lessons, and play-based learning, we nurture each child’s growth in academics, social development, and critical thinking.

With a strong emphasis on STEM education, we encourage problem-solving and innovation from an early age. Our PCA Career Exploration Academy & Village introduces children to various career paths through interactive experiences, helping them develop real-world skills and aspirations for the future—preparing them for success in both school and life.

Our nutritional value.

Patty Cake Academy believes that learning begins with a healthy diet. As a participant of the state of Alabama's Child Nutrition program, we provide our children with a nutritious breakfast, lunch and snack. We have a state certified cook on staff at each location to prepare meals that comply with nutrition guidelines.

What are the tuition and payment policies at pattycake academy?

Tuition payments are due by 5 PM every Tuesday. We offer multiple payment options, including online payments and auto-draft. Late fees may apply for overdue payments.

Alabama offers child care vouchers and subsidies to low-income families through the Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF). You can apply for these vouchers through the state's Department of Human Resources. 

How can parents get involved with Pattycake Academy?

We encourage parent involvement through Volunteer opportunities, and school events such as Grandparent’s Day, the Sneaker Ball, and Graduation. Parents can also participate in classroom activities and enrichment programs.
